Students sang self-created songs with their teachers, drew pictures of a ‘radio’, recited poems in both English and Hindi. The interview of the Principal was broadcast on the school speaker system where a child of class III interacted with her. An aura of the years rolled by was created in the minds of each one listening. Quiz on the history of ‘Radio’ was conducted amongst the students of class IV where apart from gaining information children enjoyed themselves thoroughly. At the end, the aim of the school was to sensitize the students about the importance of ‘Radio’ and how it affected the lives of millions across the globe. Students went home remembering the good “old machine”.
