On September 21, 2024, Mount Fort Academy hosted a heartwarming Grandparents’ Day celebration, honouring the cherished bond between grandparents and grandchildren. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the school’s Principal, Dr. Paarull Sharma, Headmistress Mrs. Neena Uniyal, and several proud grandparents, marking the beginning of a joyful occasion.
Students from Pre-KG to Grade 2 delighted the audience with a variety of performances. Pre-KG students kicked off the celebrations with a lively dance, followed by a melodious song from LKG students that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The students of Grade 1 and 2 stole the show with a touching play and a series of cultural dances, receiving heartfelt applause from the audience.


A special craft activity allowed grandparents and grandchildren to work together, creating meaningful keepsakes. This interactive segment emphasized the theme ‘My Culture,’ fostering stronger connections between the generations.
Principal Mam, Dr. Paarull Sharma expressed her gratitude, saying, “Grandparents play an essential role in shaping the lives of our students by imparting moral values and wisdom. Today’s event is a beautiful reflection of love, respect, and tradition, values that we strive to nurture in our children.”
