Graduation Day Ceremony held at Mount Fort Academy

UKG standard proudly graduated to class I.

The Sun dawned bright with a little extra brilliance on Tuesday, the 11th of March 2025 when the little ones from UKG standard proudly graduated to class I. The day was marked by the traditional lighting of the lamp by Vedansh Snehi who happened to be the oldest student of the school accompanied by the Chief Guest, Ms. Indrani Pandhi, Director, Dr. Puja Jain, the Principal, Dr. Paarull Sharma and Headmistress, Mrs. N. Uniyal. Ms. Pandhi, the Editor in Chief of the popular daily newspaper “The Himachal Times” has been conferred with over 400 rewards and is the proud recipient of the prestigious “Uttarakhand Ratna Award” thrice in a row.

She is a social activist and a woman entrepreneur par-excellence. The school was indeed very fortunate and proud to have her amidst us at the Graduation Ceremony. The little ones mesmerized the audience by their Guru Vandana to pay homage to their teachers and parents.

The children were awarded “graduate degree” by the Chief Guest in the presence of proud parents and even more proud teachers who have guided the boys and girls to reach this point in their journey called “education.” The children presented a foot tapping dance on the song titled “You can do it if you try” by Fred Penner showcasing the indomitable spirit of the children through the song. In her address the Chief Guest Ms. Pandhi stressed that for children participation in any event is most important.

She was absolutely enthralled by the performances given by the children on stage and said that it was evident through the performances that children were blossoming in the conducive atmosphere provided by the school. In her concluding address, the Principal, Dr. Paarull Sharma drove home the point that parents should spend quality time with their children which would be the best gift they could provide for their growing up boys and girls. The enlightening ceremony came to a close with the presentation of the memento by the Director and Principal to the honourable Chief Guest. We hope to carry on with this legacy of learning, un-learning and re-learning at this temple of education called Mount Fort Academy.
