Thus goes the famous saying. Once the lamp is lit, it burns incessantly brightening up the lives of each individual that it touches. For me, the professional journey as an educator began in the year 1985 from “Scholars Home”. The seeds of dedication, self-discipline and sincerity were sowed by my great teachers at “Cambrian Hall” where I went to school as a student. After doing an M.Sc and B.Ed, I joined “Ann Mary School.” After spending a good 38 years in the field of teaching and learning, I still feel I am a learner at heart. I strongly believe in the philosophy of “Learning by doing”, “Simple is beautiful” and “To the Basics”. The journey has been intense and has made an indelible mark on my persona. Learning, for me is not only about facts, figures and techniques but it is also about being upright, strong valued, honest and grounded to reality, yet with having eyes which survey the world. Leading people with love, affection and a strong human touch is one of the basic cornerstone of my professional experience! I feel very fortunate and God blessed that I have joined the family of Mount Fort Academy and now share our common vision of imparting quality education to each child born in our great nation. To provide equal opportunities to children so that they are future ready and are good learners of today to take on and be great leaders and visionary of tomorrow.
