Self-Learning

The age range of 2.5 to 6 years is critical for a child’s development into a complete human being. This is the age when youngsters are acclimating to the outside world and forming a strong sense of self.

These are the kids who have an endless supply of energy and a limitless imagination. These bundles of ecstasy require room and leisure to plan out their own adventures. At MF Play, the Primary Environment does this.

Sensorial Development

Although humans have five sense organs, we are dominated by a total of ten senses. We take all other senses for granted as part of growing up, while we talk about touch, sight,

taste, smell, and hearing. These are the senses that allow children to discover different weights of items, sense of temperature (hot or cold), muscle sense (which allows you to take the appropriate step even if the power goes out), and sterogeonistic sense (which allows you to seek for an object in a bag without looking). All of these biological senses are also developed in the SI environment.

Academic Development

Even before they or we realise it, children are exposed to math. When they’re told they have a sister or two grandmothers, for example. In the same way, children can learn up to

seven languages in their first six years. We encourage them without placing too much emphasis on spelling or structure. We provide them the freedom to develop a desire to write on their own, guiding them only when necessary.

Life Skills

What the children see in their environment is what they learn, and whatever they learn is also what they require in life. They witness their mother folding clothes or their father filling water bottles and want to do the same to be a part of the family. We encourage children to learn these important life skills and introduce

them under the headings of: Care for Self, where they learn to tie their shoes and button their shirts; Care for Environment, where they learn to water plants and clean up after themselves; and Social Behaviour, where they learn to be courteous and polite and greet everyone with a sign of affection.

Culture

India has a rich cultural heritage and we of all as educators should ensure that our next gen is aware of it. Culture education is not based on religion or ethnicity but on the physical aspects of the world like land, region, language, plants, animals, music, and art. By introducing these concepts to the child at an early age, we aim to make them

aware and sensitive to their surroundings. Going beyond we also teach them to demonstrate love, share, care and respect for cultures globally.
