Mount Fort Academy Inaugurates New Auditorium “Kalaa Aangan”

Mount Fort Academy is proud to announce the inauguration of its new state of the art Auditorium “KALAA AANGAN”

It was indeed a special evening for all of us as the occasion drew unparalleled enthusiasm in the students,staff and guests as we witnessed a harmonious
Evening of Music and dance. Well wishers and parents had all gathered to take part in the inaugural ceremony of Mount Fort Academy ‘s Auditorium ” Kalaa Aangan “ which is built in the loving memory of Shri Suresh Jain.

Kalaa Aangan is the temple of learning where the students displayed various dance forms and vocal music that kept the audience mesmerized.

The auditorium is constructed to bring forward to the people, the various expertise of the students in Music and Dance and various other co-curricular activities in the times to come.

The children showcased their hidden talents extravagantly in Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance, we also witnessed the spectacular tabla performances given by the students along with western and Indian vocal music. The performances were applauded by the guests.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by our honored guest Mrs Doyita Datta , ex Vice Principal of Welham girls school, former panelist of KBC and the winner of Mastermind.
The occasion was graced by the presence of our chief guest Mr Lokesh Ohri , a renouned heritage activist.
Mr Alfred Kitto , Mrs Namrata Walia and Mr Anvesh Kant were our honored judges for the evening. We were pleased to have Mrs Mehra former HOD of science department ,from Welham girls school and Mrs B Pal Aneja ex dance Guru at Maharani Gayatri Devi school , Rajasthan ,also from Pratap Music House and Mr Surjeet Singh Khaira ,former Hod at Welham boys school as our guests for the evening.

Mr Gaurav Raturi enlightened the evening with his melodious flute recital.

The extraordinary talent of the students was highly appreciated by our esteemed guests.
